Health benefits of eggs

Eggs are among the foods which are classified as superfoods. They are full of nutrients, and some of which are rare in the modern diet. Here are some health benefits of eggs and the reasons why you should eat them more often:

Ingredients

Directions

Soft

Take a pot, fill it with water, and bring it to a boil over high heat. Now, reduce the heat to low, add the eggs and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes. When you’re done, drain the eggs, cool them in ice water, and peel them.

Medium

Take a pot, fill it with water, and bring it to a boil over high heat. Now, reduce the heat to low, add the eggs and cook for about 7 to 8 minutes. When you’re done, drain the eggs, cool them in ice water, and peel them.

Hard

Take a pot and place the eggs in it. Now, fill it with cold water by one inch. Bring the pot to a boil over medium-high heat and cover it. Now, remove the pot from the heat and set it aside for about 8 to 10 minutes. When it’s done, drain the eggs, cool them in ice water, and peel them.

Deviled Eggs

Take a bowl of ice water and transfer in it hard-boiled eggs with a slotted spoon and let it cool.

Next, drain the ice water. Crack the bottom, wider end of each egg against something hard, one at a time, and then hold the egg under cold running water when you peel it.

Slice each egg in half lengthwise. Now, scoop the yolks into a bowl and make your filling.

Next, fill each egg-white half with the mixture of yolk with a spoon, resealable plastic bag, or piping bag.

Tip

Leave the eggs to stand for about 20 minutes at room temperature before you cook them, to eliminate the chill from the refrigerator.
